Youth Auction
We will be setting up for the auction on Saturday, July 12th beginning immediately following the 5:00 service...probably around 6:00. Then on Sunday morning beginning at 9:30 we will set the actual auction items out.
On Saturday: We need all hands on deck as our primary focus will be moving tables and chairs. Pizza at Napolis or somewhere else immediately following set up.
On Sunday: We'll provide donuts and juice for all who can help.
Milwaukee Trip - More details
Everyone must have one pair of closed toed shoes. Everyone also must have at least one pair of long pants/jeans.
Everyone should have a pair of work gloves. These could actually be donated at the end of the week to work sites or if you get a two for one deal.
One of our locations is in need of school supplies, so when doing your VBS donation shopping could you grab a couple of donation items for our trip also?
If we can get someone to bring a donation van up to Milwaukee on Monday evening there is a place called The Neighborhood Store and Coffee Shop that is located in the basement of the Reformation Lutheran Church. They are in need of the following items. We don't have room to get these things there ourselves but is some great parent wouldn't mind a drive up to Milwaukee...
Clothes: Underwear (new or used in good repair), socks, jewelery
Household goods: Silverware, curtains, sheets and pillow cases, towels and wash cloths, kitchen towels, clocks
Electronics: TVs, VCRs, Radios, CD Players, Telephones, small appliances in working order including fans and vacuums
Supplies for the coffee shop: 13 and 15 gallon garbage bags, hot cups, coffee, sugar, and creamer
Also we will be attending the German Fest on the Lake on Thursday evening so you may want to bring a little money to supplement your dinner allowance.
We are also looking for one additional driver on Sunday getting us to Lutherdale and on Friday we would like two additional drivers...coming to Lutherdale and getting us home.
DEPARTURE ON SUNDAY: NEW TIME 1:00
We will participate in closing worship on Friday at 1:00 at Lutherdale and leave immediately following for home. So that should make us home by 4:00.
