On Sunday mornings during the program year, we align our adult education with Sunday School times - 9:45 a.m. through 10:30 a.m. In the past, we have presented such topics as "The Book of Job", "Healthy Congregations" and "Managing Your Stress," viewing the film Luther, "Fundamentalism," and many other topics of interest. Bring your coffee and stay for the discussion!

Question: Could You Live On A Dollar A Day?
About one billion people around the world live on less than a dollar a day. Every three seconds a child dies of hunger or preventable disease. At least 104 million children do not have access to basic education. Is there anything we can do to end global poverty? Join us for Adult Forum in Lent as we explore “God’s Mission in the World,” a study guide prepared by the ELCA and the Episcopal Church. During the first session we examined the Biblical understandings of poverty and social justice. On the following Sundays we’ll learn about the Millenium Development Goals, eight goals for eradicating poverty adopted in 2000 by all members of the United Nations, including the United States. We will consider practical ways that we as individuals and as a congregation can work toward achieving these goals.“God’s Mission in the World” will be facilitated by members of the Social Ministry Team, and we need your participation to make the discussion lively and meaningful. So bring your cup of coffee, your questions, your ideas and join us!
